CWMF’s “Dust-Eater” pulsejet baghouse is second to none, designed for greater efficiency and less maintenance. With the largest standard fines knockout area, the Dust-Eater baghouse is a highly efficient, fabric-filter dust collection unit, which meets particulate-emission control guidelines set forth by the EPA.
With one of the industry's most unique innovations in pulsing manifolds, the Dust Eater features an air pulsing system with no hoses or fittings to leak or maintain. Instead, the pulse valves are built into the manifold as part of the clean air plenum. The heated manifold prevents freeze-ups of valves, while providing easy maintenance of the valve diaphragm from outside the baghouse. Valve repair kits are relatively inexpensive and readily available. Inside the baghouse, the airjet tube is connected to the pulse valve by means of a taperlock Viton seal fitting. This allows easy removal of the jet tube when necessary.
The Dust-Eater has a larger standard "knockout" plenum with minimum 7 feet X 14 feet knockout. The "teepee" air deflector provides air distribution to both the sides and bottom of the contaminated air chamber. The reduced velocity of the air at this point provides for a 75% drop-out of the fines before they reach the bags.
Properly installed air deflectors provide added protection to prevent sandblasting of the Nomex bags. This deflection system provides even distribution of fines throughout the baghouse to assure maximum efficiency.
